Another slump?

I know it's been awhile since I've posted anything, but please forgive me! For one thing, I honestly haven't played any games since Shadow Complex, or watched any movies since G.I. Joe. For another thing, I was on vacation! I just managed to sneak my review of Shadow Complex up before we left our home in Greensburg, PA (about 45 minutes to an hour east of Pittsburgh) to visit relatives in Maryland (across the Bay Bridge from Annapolis). We only arrived home Tuesday night.

Rest assured, I do hope to have some reviews up soon. After coming back from vacation, I installed the final version of Window 7 Professional on my main desktop, and I'm installing Mac OS X Snow Leopard on my ancient MacBook as we speak. If I get the time, I'd like to see District 9 and Inglourious Basterds. And the game drought should be ending soon, so I've got a game or three to play through in the next couple of days.

In the meantime, amuse yourself with one of the following websites.

People of Walmart.

The FAIL blog

And one of my reader's personal favorites, Awkward Family Photos.

hey mike i don't know if you even read your comments section, but if you do i was wondering if you were planning to get the fear 2 single player dlc (reborn) that is released tomorrow (i think? thursday maybe?), as i'm not entirely sure if they are making it for pc nor am i sure whether you purchased fear 2 for 360 or not. and if you are, are you intending to review it?

As a matter of fact, I do read my comments sections. And I probably will get F.E.A.R. 2 reborn, and I probably will review it. But probably not soon, as I'm playing Wolfenstein, then I'm picking up Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 soon, and if the stars (that is, time and money) align just right, I'd really love to squeeze Arkham Asylum and Darkest of Days in there too. And that's just in the next two weeks!

hey even if you don't give a full on review, give a quick heads up on darkest of days, that game has intrigued me for quite a while (not that I can run it of course) but I am very interested to know how it turned out. AA is incredible, as I'm sure you've heard and I'm very impressed with what I've seen of MUA2. I very much enjoy Wolfenstein as well, Raven Software are a truly great dev team.
